To celebrate the 40 years of her brand, agnès b. will re-issue, in a limited series, some of the most symbolic designs from the Artists’ T-shirts series since its debut in 1994. Artists included in the series can be famous or unknown, French or foreign.

From the very outset, in her first boutique in the rue du jour in Paris, agnès b. made T-shirts that reproduced drawings or slogans: in those days they were all different silkscreen prints produced in situ with variations in the colour and size of the motif.

But it was actually a proposition by Felix Gonzalez Torrès that kicked off the movement in 1994 - a simple phrase on the back of a garment: “nobody owns me”. Printed in a limited edition of 100 ex, this tee-shirt has now become a collector’s item.

agnès b. has thus created a special line of clothing in the form of artists’ T-shirts, a label indicating the name of the artist who made it characterizes this special line. The T-shirts are all collaborations between the artist and agnès b. who work together to choose the images, design, colours and details. The t-shirts are often printed in a limited edition and some become “collectors”.


Since the creation of this line, over 60 artists such as Kenneth Anger, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Frédéric Bruly-Brouabré, Gilbert & George, John Giorno, Douglas Gordon, Dennis Hopper, Jonone, Seydou Keïta, Harmony Korine, David Lynch, Jim Shaw, Hugues Reip... to cite just a few... have accepted agnès’ invitation to design T-shirts. agnès b. also offers this opportunity to younger artists, to use as a platform to showcase their work.


If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please note you have 15 days upon receipt to return your order.

1) Log in to your account to select the product you wish to return and select the reason for the return. Save your selection, download the return form and print.
2) Include the printed return form in the parcel. Without it, we will not be able to proceed with your refund or exchange.
3) Use the waybill number to schedule the pick-up with DHL.

The refund amount will be credited back to the payment used during your purchase.
Once your item has been received in our warehouse, please expect 10 days for your order refund to go through.

Exchange is possible only for the same article in a different size or colour, and subject to availability. If item is unavailable; a refund will be processed.

Any return item(s) must be unworn and in the original condition including all packaging and labels.
