Born in 1980, Jordane Saget scribbled his first drawings on school benches searching a mathematical-aesthetic rule of “beauty.” Over time, he gave up straight lines for curved ones, and the calculation for inspiration... No preparatory drawing, one line brings another, each line creates an imbalance in the space that the next one comes to balance. Lines do not function as a pattern: no form repetition, no preconceived symmetry. Saget draws with chalk, he loves this archaic way of leaving a trace in the modern city.
