With agnès b., the garment is regularly used like a medium for the stylist’s pictures.
During the shooting, the photography is conceived to be applied in all over on a particular garment.
The garment as support
“It can be an image taken from the beaches of Brittany, of neon colours, of Tokyo, New York graffiti…”.
Passionate about photography, agnès b. decided to use clothes and style as a medium through which to show her pictures and images. Screen printed on a t-shirt, a skirt or a dress, the photo style underlines and punctuates every collection.
A full outfit or a finishing touch
The Orietta skirt features a digital print of a photo taken by agnès b. showing the Concorde Ferris wheel on a rainy day in Paris.
A snapshot in time: the vast blue sky on the Saphir kimono dress was immortalised by the stylist during a walk to the Queen's Hamlet in Versailles.
A photo fashion show for every season
“I have been taking pictures for a very long time.” Passionate by the photography, agnès b. never leaves her camera. It’s in a digital printing workshop that the textil become a support for the picture. The prototype is developed in the House’s workshop and fitted on the cabin model to make the latest tailoring, before the fashion show.
